Through the Assessment division of IAS Register AG, it is possible to access dedicated exam sessions for the voluntary certification of the skills of professional figures.
All the proposed certifications are designed in accordance with the requirements of the international standard ISO/IEC 17024:2012, compliance with which ensures the candidate who intends to be certified an independent, homogeneous approach based on an objective assessment methodology.
The service consists of certifying that a person is competent on the basis of the requirements of a national and/or international standard, in order to guarantee the total compliance of the production processes or the quality of the final product defined within the standard itself. The candidate’s fulfilment of the requirements is guaranteed by the collection of objective evidence obtained through an assessment of his/her previous knowledge (training) and skills (competences), with the subsequent issuance of the relevant certificate attesting to competences.
IAS Register AG also ensures the maintenance of skills over time through periodic checks and requests for updates of the evidence collected on the technical, organizational and behavioral skills of the certified professional.
In particular, IAS Register AG offers the following skills to the market:
A point of reference in the clear, unambiguous and measurable definition of the requirements and characteristics (training, competence, updating, experience,…) that a professional must have in order to carry out his or her work, is what is reported in Law no. 4 of 2013“Provisions on non-organized professions” on the regulation of new professions.
In addition to this, there are the reference technical standards (which define the certifiable requirements), published by the standardization bodies in the various countries for individual professions, or by ISO at international level.
In addition to laws and standards, a specific scheme can be defined by reference subjects for a specific sector (e.g. Trade Associations), sometimes in collaboration with the Certification Bodies themselves.
